Sonam is a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist, Yoga Teacher, and Coach who loves helping people tackle complex pelvic health issues with a whole-person approach. After earning her doctorate in physical therapy, she spent years in various settings, helping thousands overcome chronic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction. But, as she continued to work within the confines of the insurance-based medical system, she realized it wasn’t always the best place to truly treat the whole person. So, she packed her bags and headed to Rishikesh, India, to complete her 200-hour yoga teacher training.
Now, Sonam is all about optimizing your mind, body, and soul! Her mission? To empower you to take control of not only your pelvic health but all aspects of your being, helping you come home to yourself through holistic healing.
What is online pelvic health and chronic pain coaching?
This program provides education, guided movement, breathwork, and holistic strategies to help you improve pelvic health, manage chronic pain, and reconnect with your body—all from the comfort of your home. It is not physical therapy or medical treatment but rather a wellness-focused, educational approach.
How is this different from physical therapy?
Unlike physical therapy, which involves medical diagnosis and hands-on treatment, our coaching program offers education, movement, mindfulness, lifestyle modifications and yoga to help you be a healthier and happier version of yourself.
Who is this program for?
This is for anyone experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pain, tension, or mobility challenges and looking for an empowering approach to healing. It’s great for anyone who has tried traditional physical therapy or other approaches with no lasting results.
How soon will I see results?
Everyone’s journey is unique, but with consistent practice, many people experience improvements in pain, tension, and body awareness within a few weeks. The goal is long-term, sustainable well-being, not just quick fixes.
Is this program safe for pregnancy and postpartum?
Yes! The program includes pregnancy-safe modifications and postpartum support for core and pelvic floor recovery. It’s ideal for anyone preparing for birth, healing after delivery, or simply wanting to reconnect with their body after pregnancy. However, if you’re newly postpartum, please check with your provider before beginning.
Can this help with common pregnancy and postpartum issues like diastasis recti, prolapse, or incontinence?
Yes! While this is not medical treatment, the program provides education, movement, and breathwork techniques to support core engagement, pelvic floor relaxation and strength, and overall body awareness to help manage and prevent symptoms like prolapse, incontinence, and diastasis recti.
